Men - Why are Ya'll so F*cking Stubborn about Doctors and Medication??

Okay so the bf has had a toothache for forever, due to him needing one of his wisdom teeth out.

I just talked to him and he said he was referred to a dental surgeon and has an appointment for Monday.

NOW..the dentist asked him if he was experiencing pain which he is so she tells him that she's going to prescribe an antibiotic because that's most likely what is causing the pain.

THIS MFer is like I'm not going to get the prescription I'm just going to take some Advil until Monday.

wtf??

So I'm like, it's probably a good idea that you take the antibiotics for a couple days because there is a chance the surgeon won't operate if he sees it's infected. Loooord...he goes off on this Jamel-esque conspiracy theory about how taking unneeded antibiotics can cause them to be ineffective in the future.

I'm like well she prescribed them sooo...

Smh..finally I was just like whatev it's your mouth.


So men, are ya'll like that? Do you take your ass to the dentist/doctor or do you postpone it until you can't any longer?

Do you take meds at all?

Why so difficult? Do you feel like it shows weakness or something?
