The daughter of legendary West Coast Hip-Hop MC DJ Quik is currently facing murder charges after the violent death of her 2-year-old son. Twenty-one year old Davieanna Marlena Blake and her boyfriend Darnell Moses Alvarez, 24, were arrested in their apartment in Phoenix when police found the couple standing over the body of Blake's dead son.
Sources say an autopsy report showed that the child suffered “lacerated liver, severe internal bleeding and multiple bruising throughout his body, inconsistent with being struck with a belt only.”
The beating started when Alvarez discovered that the young boy had wet the bed. He began beating the child with a belt. Blake told police she didn't interfere because she feared it would upset her boyfriend even more.
Blake then went to work and when she returned the boy had stopped breathing. Blake and Alvarez are both charged with murder.
