This idiot Republican Female State Representative introduced a bill that would restrict abortion rights for women in Texas. She also states that it will not affect women/girls who are victims of rape because the hospital "cleans them out" with a rape kit.
"In the emergency room they have what's called rape kits where a woman can get cleaned out," [Laubenberg] said, comparing the procedure to an abortion. "The woman had five months to make that decision, at this point we are looking at a baby that is very far along in its development."

The proposed law would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Doctors performing abortions would need admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles. And it would make Texas just the third state to require all abortions be performed at centers licensed for surgery.
Rick Perry ... our piece of shit governor ... already is stopping funding to Planned Parenthood because they perform abortions at only SOME clinics. Never mind all the good they do with providing birth control and STD check ups or AIDS testing and awareness. Also in Texas you have to have a sonogram and the doctor must show you the fetus ... then wait 24 hours before you can have the procedure.
Now regardless on how you feel about abortions.... do you think the government has a right to control what a woman does with her own body?
