Sometimes taking chances and giving somone a chance when they show a romantic interest in you can be a good thing. However, in the case of 37-year-old Stacey Lynn DeLong of Florida it was a very, very bad thing.
DeLong was arrested last week after admitting to detectives that she had engaged in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy. Her reasoning? He "showed an interest in her." Well that would be fine if it wasn't illegal.
The age of consent in Florida is 18-years-old.
DeLong is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
