Deputies: Man leaves kid in car while at strip club

CLEARWATER (FOX 13) -
Pinellas deputies say a 41-year-old man left his child unattended in a car Sunday night while he was in a strip club.
Monty Ray Grow was arrested for child abuse outside the Diamond Dolls on U.S. 19. He was put in handcuffs right in front of his 3-year-old daughter and her grandparents, who presumably were involved in notifying authorities.
Deputies say Grow arrived at the strip club around 9:30 p.m., went inside and just left his daughter inside the car in the parking lot.
It's unclear exactly how long the child was in the vehicle. The child was uninjured, deputies said.
Grow is a former NFL football player and Florida Gator. He was active in the league for three seasons.
