Have you ever changed someone's perspective on stereotypes?

For example a boss who thinks people like you aren't hard working, or a neighbor who thinks people like you are doing something illegal, or someone in a store who thinks people like you are untrustworthy theives?

Or is it that no matter what you do, people will always treat you the way "people like you" deserve to be treated based on those same stereotypes you've disproven?
