Anyone knowledgeable about car repairs?
I was backing out of the garage and looking to my left so I wouldn't hit our other car, and I cracked the right passenger mirror of the new car on the side of the garage. The actual casing that houses the mirror is intact, but the glass itself is cracked in like 5 places. I called Napa, Pep Boys, Autozone. Each one tells me the replacement mirror has to be ordered and they're quoting me some expensive prices (well over $100). What I need to know is if there's a way to just replace the glass without buying the whole mirror thingy. And if I can just replace the glass, how much is it to do that? He's gonna lose his shit when he finds out. We just got the car on Friday![:((]( ":((")
