Anybody Ever Make/Think of Making a Kickstarter?

Thinking about starting one up to fund a patent for an invention. Who knew inventing things could be so expensive?

So Im thinking about raising like $5000, which isnt much compared to some projects on there. Any tips? How did you make yours interesting? Did you make a video or offer any rewards? Were you successful? Lemme know!
