Fellow poster and mod @Du_Du announced that he would be carrying out a sinister plan to ban one of the IC's own: @conflict.
He stated that he would ban him for the duration of his own vacation (now until January 6th) and gave no other reason than his own personal feelings of hate of another man. @Du_Du made it clear that he knew no other mod could unban @conflict as that would go against Mod Law.
I preemptively banned @conflict with the intentions of unbanning him the moment @Du_Du goes on vacation. I did so for 2 reasons:
1. To protect the entire community from mods that abuse their powers with their own personal agendas
2. To piss Du off
Du has since requested that I release Conflict so that he may carry out his evil plan against him.

Now I leave it up to the people of the ill community. You may vote on what should occur in this event. Should Du be allowed to carry out his plan of abusing his powers for a personal vendetta so that he can spend Christmas with a smile on his face around his family? Or should Du be stopped in his tracks and forced to look over his shoulder every waking moment during his vacation for fear of vengeance from Conflict?
The choice is yours and may the e-gods have mercy on us all because the IC will surely be divided.
