I think I just saw a UFO!

So I head out to get some late night snacks and I pull up and park back home and see this orange orb moving slowly towards me, I can see two faint red orbs off to it's sides, close by. As it gets closer I'm waiting for a noise and there's silence, so I walk up the sidewalk and see my wife outside and ask her what she's doing, she asks if I see the object in the sky, I say yes and we both look up and it's still slowly coming towards us. It starts blinking off and on, it comes back on and drops a smaller orange orb and it falls straight down fast, then it takes off upward (@ an angle) at a fast speed. Then disappears once it goes higher...

There's planes above us all the time, even planes up higher than this orb make sound. Nothing like I've ever seen.

I think I finally seen a UFO, I've looked up other things and so far no explanation.
