White nationalists hold torch rally in Charlottesville
A group of white nationalists, including prominent alt-right leader Richard Spencer, held a torch-lit rally Saturday in Charlottesville, CBS affiliate WCAV reports.
The marchers chanted "you will not replace us" and "we will be back" at Emancipation Park, according to WCAV. The rally only lasted about 20 minutes before they dispersed.
Charlottesville mayor Mike Signer tweeted Saturday night that the city is looking into legal options.
Meanwhile, three people were arrested following a protest during a bicentennial celebration at the University of Virginia on Friday.
The star-studded show featured performances by Leslie Odom Jr., the star of Broadway's "Hamilton" and the Goo Goo Dolls.
The Daily Progress reports that as journalist Katie Couric, a university alumna, was introducing the next act, three activists climbed in front of a screen. They unfurled a banner that read, "200 years of white supremacy."
The three people arrested were students, according to WCAV.
The university has faced criticism from some students over its response to this summer's white nationalist rallies in the city. Critics have also called on the school to do more to acknowledge racist parts of its past.
The incidents come almost two months after a white nationalist rally at the same location in Charlottesville that left one woman dead and at least 19 others injured. A torch-lit rally was held the night before.

MMA Fighter ‘War Machine’ Brutally Assaults Pornstar Ex-Girlfriend, Later Tweets He Is Being Framed
On early Friday morning, MMA fighter War Machine (motto: “I do Alpha Male sh*t”) allegedly barged into his ex-girlfriends home and nearly beat her to death. He still hasn’t turned himself in, insisting that he is being framed by the police.
According to Christy Mack, the two had been broken up for several months and she doesn’t know what made him decide to break into her house and attack her. She says that once he was in the house, he went ballistic immediately. A friend was over who War Machine punched several times before throwing him out of the house. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the hours-long nightmare that played out at Mack’s home.
Mack, who is recovering at a hospital recounted her assault and harrowing escape on her Twitter account.
Without a single word spoken, he began beating my friend; once he was finished, he sent my friend away and turned his attention to me. He made me undress and shower in front of him, then dragged me out and beat my face. I have no recollection of how many times I was hit, I just know my injuries resulted from my beating. My injuries include 18 broken bones around my eyes, my nose is broken in 2 places, I am missing teeth and several more are broken. I am unable to chew, or see out of my left eye. My speech is slurred from my swelling and lack of teeth. I have a fractured rib and severely ruptured liver from a kick to my side. My leg is so badly injured I have not been able to walk on my own.
Mack also alleges that War Machine tried to rape her, but was unable to perform. Instead, he grabbed a “dull knife” and chopped off much of her hair. After prolonged abuse, her attacker went into another room to find a sharper knife and Mack made her escape out her back door. She managed to get to a neighbor’s house and was taken to a nearby hospital. When police went to investigate Mack’s house, War Machine was gone.
Highlighting how close Mack had come to being murdered, she also said that War Machine had cancelled her cell phone plan so that “no one would worry about” her whereabouts if she went missing.

Police have offered a $10,000 reward for his capture, but so far been unable to locate him.
That isn’t to say he is laying low since the assault, War Machine has been very active on social media. Despite the mountain of evidence against him, War Machine has spent the weekend at-large and sending out a series of tweets claiming that he was being framed for the crime.
Astonishingly, some of War Machine’s fans have come to the fighter’s defense accusing Christy (who works as a porn star) of being unfaithful and that if War Machine caught her with another man he was justified in how he reacted.

At around 2 am Friday morning, Jon Koppenhaver arrived unannounced to my home in Las Vegas, NV, after he broke up with me in May, he moved out of my house and back to San Diego. When he arrived, he found myself and one other fully clothed and unarmed in the house. I also attained several lesions from a knife he got from my kitchen. He pushed the knife into me in some areas such as my hand, ear, and head. He also sawed much of my hair off with this dull knife. After some time, the knife broke off of the handle and continued to threaten me with the blade. I believed I was going to die. He has beaten me many times before, but never this badly.
He took my phone and cancelled all of my plans for the following week to make sure no one would worry about my whereabouts. He told me he was going to rape me, but was disappointed in himself when he could not get hard. After another hit or two, he left me on the floor bleeding and shaking, holding my side from the pain of my rib. He left the room and went to the kitchen where I could hear him ruffling through my drawers. Assuming he was finding a sharper, more stable knife to end my life, I ran out my back door, shutting it behind me so the dogs didn't run inside to tip him off. I hopped the fence to the golf course behind my house and ran to a neighboring house. Naked and afraid he would catch me, I kept running through the neighborhood knocking on doors. Finally, one answered and I was brought to the hospital and treated for my injuries.
I would like to thank everyone for their support through this rough time. I am healing fast and well, and I appreciate all of the prayers and visits I have received over the past few days. After many months of fear and pressure to keep this man happy, although I fear for my life, I feel that I can no longer put myself in this situation. The cheating by him nearly every day, and almost weekly abuse is now more than I can stand. There is a $10k reward for the capture of Jonathan Koppenhaver at this time. Two videos advertising the resort show men arriving for unlimited sex, drugs and alcohol.
One erotic video promoting the trips - described as a 'sex island experience' - shows a man arriving at a villa, where he is greeted by scantily clad girls.
Another shows a balding man walking into his room to discover four naked women lying face down on his bed.
It also shows dozens of bikini-clad models gyrating on a boat, while a caption on the screen boasts: 'Unlimited sex included'.
On the second day of the four-day sex fest clients will have half an hour with 16 women at once - and organisers say customers will be able to find their 'true self'.
The holidays are offered by a group named the Good Girls Company, which is advertising a trip between November 24 and 27.
Other scenes in the video include a man eating a meal off the naked body of a female star, while a woman also features in a fetish version of a French maid's outfit.
On its website, the firm says clients will be able to 'live life as you always imagined', and describes it as 'a discreet and beautiful environment for men to fulfill their wildest fantasies'.
Sixty prostitutes will compete for the attention of 30 men on the trip, the company has revealed.
The Good Girls Company explained on social media: "We will have 60 hot women serving 30 clients; there will be two women for each of them (available) 24 hours a day. The price includes all meals these days."
The "sex island" is off the coast of Cartagena on the north coast of Colombia.

Convicted Rapist Granted Joint Custody Of Victim's Child
SANILAC COUNTY, Mich. - It could be the first case of its kind in Michigan. A judge in Sanilac County has awarded joint legal custody to a man who allegedly raped a young girl, the victim's attorney said.
She was just 12 at the time and now has an 8-year-old boy.
The alleged rapist and biological father was not on the child's birth certificate. With joint legal custody, he could have input in decisions regarding the boy's education, religion and medical issues. He could also end up having the right to spend time with the child.
A young mother fears the man she says raped her will be allowed parental time with her son.
"He was conceived out of rape, but I don't look at that. He's my child. He's a part of me. Not a part of him," the mother said. "I hope he never has any rights to him at all."
Now 21, the victim said she was raped by Christopher Mirasolo. Her attorney said when the woman applied for state aid, Sanilac County assistant prosecutor Eric Scott filed a motion to establish paternity and collect child support.
"He claims my client agreed to it and even claimed she signed the judgment, and I'm like, 'No, she didn't. I have it right here,'" said Rebecca Kiessling, the victim's attorney.
Mirasolo pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree criminal sexual conduct and served a half-year in jail. He was later convicted for sexual assaulting another young girl.
Under the motion before him, Judge Gregory Ross could award the 27-year-old Brown City man joint legal custody.
"Hopefully other rape victims who experience the same thing will hear word of this, and also judges will learn that they can't be doing this sort of thing and will held accountable," Kiessling said.
"Everyone told me it wouldn't happen or go through, but here we are and it's happening now," the victim said.
Mirasolo's attorney said this motion came as a surprise to her client and was not pursued by them. She said they never talked about parental time and she's not sure if it's something he wants.
The next hearing is set for the end of the month.
